Ryan Braun’s time with the Milwaukee Brewers could be coming to an end.
Braun is coming off a great year, hitting .305 in 135 games with 30 HR’s and 95 RBI’s. Braun spoke to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and said “I think if anything gets more serious, we’ll have more contact.”
It is unkown what changes Braun made to the no-trade list, but his previous no-trade list included: The Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Angels, Miami Marlins, Arizona Diamondbacks, San Diego Padres, and San Francisco Giants.
Brewers GM David Stearns said “I’m very happy Ryan Braun is a member of the Milwaukee Brewers, I expect him to be a member of the Milwaukee Brewers going forward.”
It will be interesting to see what the Brewers will do with Ryan Braun throughout the rest of the offseason, and the upcoming season. Braun was nearly traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers for outfielder Yasiel Puig back in August. There is no word on whether or not those talks have resumed, but Braun says he hasn’t heard anything from GM David Stearns.
