Today the Nashville Predators announced that they have signed defenseman Adam Pardy to a one-year two-way contract. The Predators also sent down forward Miikka Salomaki to the Milwaukee Admirals.
Adam Pardy has played in 338 NHL games, where he has a career total of 4 goals, 48 assists and 52 points. This year Pardy has played a total of 12 games for the Admirals where he has 2 goals, 3 assists, and 5 points.
After signing Pardy, the Predators sent down Miikka Salomaki to the Admirals for conditioning. Salomaki only played 4 games for the Admirals last year, but in the 2014-15 season Salomaki tallied 7 goals, 11 assists, and 18 points in 38 games. Salomaki has only played 2 games in the NHL this year on October 14th and 15th against the Chicago Blackhawks. Salomaki recived a combined 19:08 minutes of playing time in those 2 games and only had 2 shots on goal in those 2 games.
The Admirals are currently on a 4 game road stand where they play back to back games against Cleveland on Friday and Saturday, the Iowa Wild on Tuesday, and the Grand Rapids Griffins next Friday. The Admirals return home to face the Chicago Wolves in the Amtrack Rivalry on Saturday December 10th.
