Week 3 of Conference action has come to an end, and the Cedarburg Bulldogs remain the dominant team in the conference with a record of 4-0. Here’s what happened this week.
Cedarburg 80 Port Washington 47
Cedarburg defeated Port in dominant fashion Tuesday night. The John Diener-Jordan Johnson duo struck again with a combined 55 points Tuesday night. Diener led the Bulldogs with 32 points. Diener now leads the conference in points per game with 24.5. Jordan Johnson finished with 23 points as they remain undefeated in conference as of Tuesday night. Port Washington remains the only team without a win so far. Oliver Giersch and Adam Baierl led the Pirates with 8 points. The Pirates will look to get their 1st win Friday vs Homestead.
Grafton 83 Germantown 62
The usual dominant Warhawks continue to struggle in conference this year as they lost to the Grafton Blackhawks Tuesday nght. Senior Justin Peters led the Blackhawks with 28 points. Senior Tanner Autey had 12 points as the Blackhawks pick up their 2nd conference win this season. For the Warhawks, Bryce Thomas had 23 points, while Kyle Clow had 11 in Germantowns 2nd loss this season. Germantown will battle Whitefish Bay at home Friday night.
Homestead 65 Milwaukee Lutheran 62
Milwaukee Lutheran lost a heart breaker against Homestead Tuesday night. Milwaukee Lutheran blew a 17 point lead as Homestead came back to tie the game at 35 at half. Milwaukee Lutheran kept it close in the 2nd half, but couldn’t close out the victory as they receive their 2nd straight loss. Senior Jack Quinlevan led the Highlanders with 30 points. Greg Foster Jr. had 11 points as Homestead improves to 2-1. For the Red Knights Sophomore Ken Daniel Jr. led the Red Knights once again with 21 points. Junior Joe Bradford had 15 points as the Red Knights fall to 1-2
Nicolet 84 Whitefish Bay 76
The Nicolet Knights improved to 2-1 on the season Tuesday night as the Knights took down the Whitefish Blue Dukes. The Knights were led by Isaiah Glidden who had 23 points in the Knights victory. Robert Behl had 14 for the Knights, and Jayden Hardy had 13 points for the Knight. Demetrius Johnson had 18 points for the Blue Dukes but it wasn’t enough to take down the Knights. Cade Garcia had 15 points, and Xavier Johnson had 14 as the Blue Dukes fall to 1-2 on the year.
Due to the snow storm all of Fridays scheduled Conference games have been postponed and will be played at a later date, most likley on Tuesday December 20th.
