The Admirals blew the Stars out of the water tonignt, as they defeated them by a score of 9 to 1.
The Admirals scored 4 goals in the 1st period by the hands of Mike Liambas, Trevor Murphy, Reid Boucher, and Harry Zolnierczyk. The Admirals stayed hot as they netted 2 more goals in the 2nd period. Newly acquired forward Reid Boucher scored his 2nd goal of the night to put the Admirals up 5-0. Cody Bass, who was recently sent down from Nashville, also scored a goal to put the Ads up 6-0. Travis Morin scored with 45 seconds left in the 2nd period to put the Stars on the board. The Admirals scored 3 more goals in the 3rd period, Harry Zolnierczyk scored his 2nd of the game as the Admirals dominated the Stars.

Marek Mazanec got his 2nd straight win, as he improves his AHL record to 5-1-1. The Admirals remain first place in the Central division with a record of 17-5-1-1, while the Stars drop to 13-10-1-1. The Admirals have a couple of days off as they head to Grand Rapids to take on the 2nd place Griffins. Puck drop is set for 6:00 p.m. Wednesday December 21st.
