Admirals fall to Wolves in a shootout; Wolves 4 Admirals 3 FINAL SO

The Admirals fell to the Wolves in a shootout Friday night, losing to the Wolves 4-3.

The Admirals scored first when Potnus Aberg netted a goal to give the Ads a early lead. The Wolves didn’t answer back untill midway through the second when Wolves forward Scooter Vaughan scored to tie the game at one. The rest of the game was back and forth, and both teams finished the game tied to go to overtime. After a scoreless overtime the Wolves prevailed in the shootout, when Kenny Agostino scores the loan goal in the shootout to bring the Wolves within a point of the Admirals in the standings.

Admirals goaltender Jonas Gunnarsson gets the loss, his record falls to 2-2-2 on the season. Pheonix Copley gets the win, he improves his record to 8-4-2. 

The Admirals return home to play the 11-15-2-3 Rockford Icehogs on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2017.
